Take the Time to Stop and Feel

I read a quote by Bob Marley, it states that “Done people feel the rain, others just get wet.” This made me stop and think, which is what I am requesting you do for yourself. Don’t just stop to think, but stop to feel. Notice the small things, breathe in deep, feel the air, wind, ran, hear the trees, people, and even the cars if they’re near, but mostly listen to your own heart, your mind, and your feelings. Take a moment to just be, meditate, and relax. I wish you well.

It is such a valuable thing to know the importance of self understanding and acceptance. Sometimes this takes a long time, so if you have not yet begun the journey...start today! Learn who YOU really are, what you love and need. Do not take anyone except you into this equation. This part can be most difficult, some of us follow a miss is try, pastor, educator, spouse, family member, or friend while others take our children into account at ever pass. This lesson is solely for you. Don’t take anyone into account for this activity. Learn who you are if you were all alone and rejoice in the knowledge. You can always bring those others along for the ride later 💚

Team Work IS Really Dream Work

As a coach we must remember that learning will come when the team does the work together. If one person is working while the other watch, there is no new learning taking place. Even though we love to have things modeled, that does not always engrain what we need to know. So, if at all you can avoid modeling and move straight into teamwork, go that route. This way all those involved take something valuable away from the work and move forward feeling more successful.

That old saying about teamwork making a dream work, is quite what I am trying to express. When you work as a team, you can see style and create a comfortable learning/coaching environment.

Support those in need

Supporting others through coaching can be fun and scary. The idea is to let others know their strengths and to help them build on that. However, when it comes to your own mental health is it okay to stand up for the minority. Sometimes it is difficult to stand up for what it right, it is actually very hard but it is necessary. If you know what needs to be done to support, I believe you make sure you are right and then move forward.
